Good lifestyle can prevent coronary heart disease

Bad lifestyle increases people's risk of coronary heart disease. Hypertension, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, obesity, smoking, lack of exercise, and unhealthy eating habits are all risk factors for coronary heart disease.
Here are several ways to prevent coronary heart disease:

1. Healthy diet
A healthy and balanced diet includes reducing sodium and alcohol intake and increasing vegetable and fruit intake. Eat more foods with low salt content and reduce cooking salt. It is recommended that salt be controlled within 7 grams per person per day. Reduce dietary fat intake and increase vegetable and fruit intake.
Suggested daily intake: 500 grams of milk, 500-600 grams of vegetables, 300-500 grams of fruits, 300-500 grams of eggs, 400-500 grams of cereals and potatoes.
Diet can increase the intake of cellulose, vitamins, potassium and so on. It was found that the alpha-linolenic acid in walnut has antioxidant effect.
Oxford University has found that eating half a cup of walnuts a day improves cardiovascular function. Adding 1000-1500 mg of potassium a day can lower blood pressure.
A banana contains about 550 mg of potassium and a medium-sized sweet potato 600 mg of potassium. Eating more oranges, watermelons, carrots, pumpkins and other orange foods can supplement carotene, which is beneficial to cardiovascular health.

2: Quit smoking
A large number of scientific studies have shown that smoking increases the incidence of coronary heart disease by 50%, and the more smoking, the higher the risk of coronary heart disease and death.
Smoking affects blood lipid metabolism, increases the concentration of low density lipoprotein, makes the blood become thick, and then causes atherosclerosis.
Harmful substances produced by tobacco combustion can damage the intima of blood vessels, make the wall of blood vessels not smooth, and make platelets aggregate and adhere, thus forming thrombus. Smoking can also cause cardiac vasospasm, decrease blood flow and aggravate myocardial ischemia.

A Stanford University study shows that smokers who quit smoking have a lower risk of coronary heart disease than those who continue to smoke. Therefore, the sooner you quit smoking, the better.

Lowering blood pressure, blood lipids and blood sugar
Hypertension, hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia are risk factors for coronary heart disease.
People with these diseases should take active measures to control blood pressure, blood sugar and blood lipids as soon as possible, go to the hospital regularly for examination, adjust medication according to doctor's orders, and do not leave the hidden danger of coronary heart disease for fear of trouble.

4: Losing weight
Obesity increases the risk of coronary heart disease. Weight loss can reduce blood pressure, blood lipids and improve glucose tolerance.

5: Physical Exercise
Proper aerobic exercise is beneficial to control blood pressure and improve cardiopulmonary function. The form of exercise can be determined according to personal interests and environmental conditions. Exercise one hour a day and exercise at least 2-3 times a week can effectively prevent coronary heart disease
